Delta Construction Partners is a well-established, boutique style, national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta is searching for an executive assistant recruiter to join our team in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.

Construction Recruiting Assistant Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide admin support to recruiter by performing miscellaneous tasks such as data entry, pulling lists, interview confirmations, and LinkedIn marketing activity up to 25% of the day
  • Make outbound calls to potential candidates as needed
  • Source/locate candidates via ATS, LinkedIn, CareerBuilder etc. 75% of the day
  • Scheduling interviews with recruiter
  • Maintaining relationships with candidates post job offer to ensure successful transition
  • Write job descriptions based on information given from Business Development team
  • Creatively source candidates
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Construction Recruiting Assistant Qualifications

  • Must be outgoing and confident, with a great, positive personality
  • Recruiting experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable speaking with candidates and on the phone
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, basic Excel skills a must
  • Local – commutable to downtown St. Petersburg (no more than 40-minute drive)
  • Must be well-spoken with good grammar, both written and verbally
  • Must be computer literate with great typing skills and data entry experience
  • Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.
  • Economically motivated and enjoys being on the phones majority of the day
  • Must want a long-term employment opportunity

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Previous experience with telephone sales a plus
  • Experienced in using Bullhorn, Linkedin, Careerbuilder, Google, Google docs
  • History of community involvement (clubs, sports, internships, volunteer work)
