Job Description


Base salary is between $70K-90K depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Tampa, Florida office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects throughout the preconstruction phase, providing coordination and design for everything from temporary power, systems and lighting to distribution and equipment sizing layout
  • Work with the project management team and customer to come up with design decisions that will exceed expectations
  • During the design process, review legal contracts, scopes of work, specifications, plans and pertinent jurisdictional codes, making sure that our projects are code and contract compliant
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, and documentation
  • Communicate project expectations to team members
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to supporting team members

Skills & Requirements

  • Candidate must have previous electrical project management experience and demonstrate an ability to successfully manage large multi-million dollar projects such as high rises, high density commercial hotels and large garden-style apartment complexes
  • Must have excellent NEC, code knowledge
  • Able to work closely with high-level customers, maintain and enhance strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Able to work in a professional work environment and show strong business acumen.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year of electrical project management experience AND 10 years in the field as a foreman or superintendent
  • Must have managed a project valued at more than 1 million of electrical work
  • Strong communication and leadership skills required

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Bachelor’s degree
