Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Project Manager, Detroit, Michigan.

Project Manager Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Project Manager, Detroit, Michigan is between $105,000 and $165,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance. You must have at least 5 years of experience estimating and managing electrical construction projects.

Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities

  • Seek out, target and initiate contact with prospective electrical construction and service customers to introduce company resources
  • Develop and maintain network of contacts and customers through proactive calls and establishing relationships.
  • Manage customer relationships as primary customer contact.
  • Determine manpower needs and staff in coordination with Field Superintendent;
  • Solicit material pricing and prepare purchase orders where appropriate
  • Lead project preplanning and coordinate prefabrication where applicable with Pre-Construction Manager
  • Manage the means, methods, and quality of installations;

Project Manager Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience estimating and managing electrical construction projects.
  • Understanding of project cost structure, including direct, indirect and overhead cost, and cost-to-complete process.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing long-term customer relationships and growing account base.
  • 4 year Degree
  • Self-starter with ability to establish and accomplish objectives in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
