Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Chicago, Illinois area office.

Total compensation is between $90,000 and $105,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop strong teams for each project overseen
  • Lead schedule goals, procurement, and capacity planning
  • Collaborate with Superintendent and other field personnel to ensure project is on schedule
  • Continuously evaluate and improve department systems
  • Manage financials, approve invoices, and track budget variances. Prepare reports for management
  • Negotiate change-orders
  • Review contractual requirements for all projects and ensure they are met
  • Communicate challenges and risks proactively to the team
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors

Skills & Requirements.

  • Must have 4+ years’ experience in electrical construction in a project manager role
  • Must have experience on commercial projects (offices, high-rise, data center, multi-family)
  • Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio of projects
  • Familiar with AutoCad/Bim
  • Strong employment stability
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Must have advanced computer/technical skills
  • Demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience with design/build
  • Journeyman of Master Electrician’s License
  • Field/Installation experience
  • PMP Certification
