Job Description


Base salary is between $100,000 and $125,000 depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Nashville, Tennessee area office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage, submittals, budgets, schedules and all other aspects necessary for a successful project
  • Travel as needed – in Tennessee
  • Worked directly with GCs and other sophisticated clients
  • Coordinate project construction with other trades to resolve critical and time-sensitive issues
  • Lead or assist with investigations and root cause analysis
  • Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction
  • Lead or attend in project meetings and conference calls
  • Manage internal teams to ensure project needs and objectives are met
  • Provide accurate project layouts and bills of materials takeoffs with constructability and operability needs to ensure estimated cost is optimized
  • Serve as interface between electrical engineering teams and internal clients such as construction, operations, and safety
  • Review and monitor job costs and budgets
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed
  • Report to management team
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with an electrical contractor
  • Must have industrial project experience with waste water, manufacturing, petro chem, food and beverage
  • Must have stable work history (at least 5 years at past employer)
  • Active Journeyman’s License
  • Experience and/or ability to learn the estimating process
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Ability to prepare construction schedules

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Accubid experience
