Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of General Construction Traveling Superintendent in Worcester, Massachusetts.


General Construction Traveling Superintendent Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the General Construction Traveling Superintendent in Worcester, MA is between $100,000 and $140,000 depending on experience and presentation in interviews, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

General Construction Traveling Superintended Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage, evaluate, and train field project team members
  • Plan, organize, and direct production of contracted scope of work
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades
  • Maintain direct contact with general contractor and other subcontractors, including the management of material and manpower
  • Responsible for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards on job sites
  • Communicate, schedule, and manage day to day operations utilizing iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope
  • Travel to sites through out New England


General Construction Traveling Superintendent Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in a General Construction Superintendent role
  • Must have a stable work history
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects for: cold storage, healthcare, life science and technology
  • Demonstrated tilt wall experience
  • Must provide a project list
  • Must have experience with projects exceeding 100,000 sq. ft
  • Candidates from New England area preferred
