MECHANICAL ENERGY ENGINEER – LITTLE ROCK, AR

Total compensation is between $50,000 and $80,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search and management consulting firm for the nation’s premier mechanical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Little Rock, Arkansas office.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze energy conservation for new/existing construction
  • Review MEP design documents, specifications, and shop drawings of metering systems to confirm all M&V requirements
  • Develop diagnostic reports for accuracy
  • Manage to code review, duct and piping layout, load calculations, ventilation calculations, life cycle cost analysis, and equipment selection
  • 10% travel
  • Analyze automation system data to identify operational issues that affect energy efficiency, comfort, or code requirements

Skills & Requirements

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience (large hospital and commercial) in the mechanical/electrical construction industry
  • B.S Mechanical Engineering or related experience
  • Understanding of large commercial HVAC systems operation preferred
  • Analytical/design experience of various energy consuming systems
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Must be adaptable, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a team environment
