Base salary is between $100,000 and $145,000 depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Seattle, Washington area office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling, implementation & coordination from development through final construction on a timely & economical basis
  • Involvement in managerial oversight of multi-family buildings
  • Responsible for the selection, coordination, oversight, and management of people, materials, budgets, schedules, and contracts
  • Direct & monitor the progress of a variety of projects.
  • Oversee the scheduling, delivery & use of materials, the quality of construction, worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes. Maintain safe, clean and compliant job sites
  • Understand contracts, plans, construction methods, and regulations
  • Track & control construction costs against the budget in order to avoid cost overruns. Prepare change-orders prior to cost overruns to avoid budget disputes
  • Prepare daily, monthly & quarterly reports
  • Locate, negotiate pricing, obtain insurance info and scope of work for various labor needs
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors and subcontractor relationships in order to build on schedule and close on time

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous experience estimating multi-family projects into the $ 1-15 million range
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in the construction field in similar or related position
  • Extensive knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and market trends
  • Maintain professionalism when faced with aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent leadership, personable, communication, and written skills
  • Ability to interact, develop, and maintain a positive professional relationship with all levels of personnel
