ELECTRICAL CHANGE ORDER ESTIMATOR - TAMPA, FL

Base salary is between $85-105K depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Tampa, Florida office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the estimating processes while meeting deadlines and company objectives, both short and long term
  • Research to provide accurate, complete and competitive pricing
  • Maintain relationship with customers to define the project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing and build relationships
  • Provide leadership, direction and training for estimating team members
  • Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives and senior management
  • Oversee the entire estimating process; on all bid projects and accurately forecast future awards/probabilities

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience
  • Must have experience with an electrical contractor
  • Experience with commercial electrical construction projects such multi-family, garden style, data centers, etc
  • Must be able to manage assigned projects from start to completion
  • Must be able to read blueprints & review bid documents and specifications for accuracy/discrepancies
  • Proficient in estimating software (Accubid preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
  • Able to provide a high level of customer service
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Bachelor’s degree
