ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT (SUBSTATION) (ANYWHERE IN U.S.)

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their St. Cloud, Minnesota office.

Annual base salary is in the $85k range, depending on experience. Salary may be more for candidates with exceptional experience and a successful history of performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the day to day field operations of project, which includes manpower, safety practices, hiring and firing of field personnel
  • Communicate with site manager for updates on job progress and any changes in scope
  • Coordinate all electrical work with other subcontractors and site managers on jobsite
  • Assist estimating team with pricing and any scope changes and change orders
  • Ensure project is running safely, effectively and on schedule
  • Ability to monitor and instruct electrical team of best practices during installations and progress
  • Ensure quality control throughout project

Skills & Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, specs, and contract documents to fully understand electrical scope of work, scheduling, and contract requirements 
  • 3+ years of experience running and managing construction projects
  • Project experience must include wind, solar, and high voltage substation projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software  
  • Ability to supervise large number of field personnel
  • Good communication skills
  • Masters license is a big plus
  • Travel is required, you may live anywhere for this position
