Job Description


Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Chicago, Illinois area office.

Base salary is between $100,000 and $130,000 depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce bids on potential projects from beginning to end
  • Manage team of estimators through standard estimating practices
  • Review/update estimating software as needed
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with client’s expectations 
  • Outline specific material required for projects. Consult with procurement to ensure accuracy of bids  
  • Collaborate with estimating team in order to ensure accuracy of bids
  • Communicate with additional departments within the company regarding transfer of projects
  • Mentoring and training of new estimators

Skills & Requirements.

  • Must have 7+ years’ experience in electrical construction in an estimating role
  • Must have experience managing a team of estimators
  • Must have experience on commercial projects (tenant fit-outs, high-rise, data center, multi-family)
  • Familiar with NEC codes
  • Strong employment stability
  • Demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management and problem-solving skills


Preferred but Not Necessary

  • College degree preferred
  • Accubid software experience
