Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Mesa, Arizona area office.

Base salary is between $90,000 and $100,000 depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce bids on potential projects from beginning to end
  • Accurately estimating take-offs on all projects
  • Collaborate with estimating team in order to ensure accuracy of bids
  • Provide leadership and assist in training of other estimators in the department
  • Communicate with additional departments within the company regarding transfer of projects
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • Manage quotation process with subcontractors and suppliers to verify pricing incorporates all scope items

Skills & Requirements.

  • Must have 7+ years’ experience in electrical construction in an estimator role
  • Must have experience estimating commercial/industrial/high tech industries
  • Desire and willingness to train others
  • Accubid experience required
  • Understanding of power delivery on substation & transmission lines
  • Strong employment stability
  • Demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management and problem-solving skills

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience with design/build of at least 5 years
