Job Description


Base salary is between $100,000 and $125,000 depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Ann Arbor, Michigan area office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage submittals, budgets, schedules and all other aspects necessary for a successful project
  • Coordinate project construction with other trades to resolve critical and time-sensitive issues
  • Lead or assist with investigations and root cause analysis
  • Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction
  • Lead or attend in project meetings and conference calls
  • Manage internal teams to ensure project needs and objectives are met.
  • Provide accurate project layouts and bills of materials takeoffs with constructability and operability needs to ensure estimated cost is optimized.
  • Serve as interface between electrical engineering teams and internal clients such as construction, operations, and safety
  • Review and monitor job costs and budgets
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed.
  • Report to President
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with an electrical contractor
  • Experience managing electrical construction projects including, health facilities, commercial, and government
  • Experience and/or ability to learn the estimating process
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Ability to prepare construction schedules
  • Knowledgeable of NEC

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Local to Michigan
