ELECTRICAL SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER ESTIMATOR (INDUSTRIAL) (CHICAGO, IL)

Delta Construction Partners is a National Executive Search and Management Consulting Firm for the Nation’s premier General and Electrical Contractors and Industry professionals.  Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Chicago, IL office.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8 Years Industrial project management experience mandatory
  • Must have electrical engineering experience
  • Create, implement and execute business plan
  • Makes sales marketing calls while ID’ing VE ideas for clients
  • Experience with capital project work (includes new construction), maintenance and service work
  • Must have successful experience running projects of up to $1-1.5 million in size
  • Must have experience estimating
  • Knowledge of techniques and standards of installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
  • Must have Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license
  • Must be knowledgeable of National Electric Code
  • Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety standards
  • Must have knowledge of techniques and standards for installation/connection of electrical equipment to power circuit
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Project), MasterBuilder and Accubid
  • Must have high energy, intuitive, ability to multi-task, strong follow-up skills, extravert, must work well with all levels of organization

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate all aspects of project proposals including; timely proposal submissions, budgets, scheduling, staffing and material purchasing
  • Study blue prints, schematics, manuals and other specifications to determine installation procedures
  • Order material/parts
  • Estimate material, personnel and time requirements to complete projects
  • Provide start to finish support and follow-up to customers and the project foreman to ensure company quality and performance standards are reached
  • Coordinate multiple projects on a continuing basis
  • Communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates or customers in order to provide/receive information by telephone, two-way radio, in written form, in person or by email
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate billing is conducted

EDUCATION:

Degree or some college preferred, but not mandatory.

COMPENSATION:

A strong total compensation package will be offered including a base salary in the $90K range plus bonus potential, vehicle, gas card, etc; however, details will only be disclosed during the interview process.
