Job Description


Base salary is between $145,000 and $165,000 depending on experience. Base salary may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Long Island, New York area office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Make daily schedules for manpower needs
  • Responsible for construction scheduling of T&D related activities of all subcontractors
  • Maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety and accident reports
  • Oversee all project work activities including, high voltage transmission lines, transmission line steel and wood structures, substation equipment, substations structures, substations electrical and substation controls, etc.
  • Plan, organize and direct production in accordance with contracted scope of work
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
  • Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure requested material is expedited and received as needed.
  • Interpret civil, foundations, structures and environmental routing line and substation drawings
  • Manage lineman on assigned projects

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience utility construction, T&D, substations, transmission, and distribution
  • Must be IBEW affiliated
  • Experience managing large scale projects and large workforce of 200+ linemen
  • Active or retired IBEW lineman
  • Knowledge of IEEE safe work practices, both transmission and distribution
  • Must have stable work history
  • Proficiency with MS Excel

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Bachelor's degree
