Job Description


Delta Construction Partners is a National Executive Search and Management Consulting Firm for the Nation’s premier General, Electrical, Mechanical, and other Specialty Contractors and Industry professionals.  Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their California office.

•    Minimum 7 years’ experience working as a PE for an electrical design firm or design build electrical contractor
•    Must be licensed (Professional Engineer) in state of California
•    Must be able to supervise a staff of engineers and designers, evaluate on progress and adjust to achieve objectives.
•    Must be able to utilize SKIM and eTAP for power study software and analysis
•    Will be attending internal/external meetings – architect, MEP, GC, etc. 
•    Comprehension of codes and ordinances
•    Familiar with electrical systems (distributions, lighting control, commercial fire alarm and necessary tele/data and AV raceway layouts)
•    Work with internal / external personnel to ensure project status meets deadlines, etc.
•    Interacts effectively to facilitate job progress
•    Must be able to coordinate with all departments and design teams, CAD-BIM managers, CEI’s and Project Managers to develop standards, mentor designers, provide technical resources,  meet objectives and apply QAQC processes through design phases
•    Skilled in prioritizing, organization and time management
•    Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment
•    Must be willing to maintain technical development goals and continuing education credits through development and training
•    Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AutoCAD – MEP/REVIT – eTAP/SKIM (preferred)
•    Strong employment stability

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Bachelors of Science degree required.
